June 2017 – 2bind GmbH is joined by Dr. Maximilian Plach as Research Scientist. With a summa cum laude PhD in Biophysics and Physical Biochemistry, Dr. Plach brings a rare combination of deep scientific expertise and operational thinking to a company that is building its service portfolio from the ground up. In his role, Dr. Plach takes responsibility for developing data analysis pipelines and customer reporting workflows across small molecule drug discovery services. He establishes the foundations of 2bind’s operational infrastructure, leads a team of laboratory scientists through the full cycle of client projects, and drives the systematic evaluation and integration of new biophysical technologies. Dr. Plach’s expertise will be instrumental for providing the best-in-class research services in biophysics. His focus aligns with 2bind’s vision to make biophysical tools, technologies, and assays readily available for the identification and development of novel therapeutic candidates.
